We spent a few days at the Matagorda Bay Nature Park. This park is located on the Colorado River where it meets the Golf of Mexico. You can see it on the map below.
This was one of our favorite places so far. Well honestly, we have enjoyed all of the places that we have been. Each location offered something different.
One morning on our beach walk, Cole and I came upon this.
I chatted with the people and asked them if they had spent the night on the beach. Yep! All five of them. Two adults and three kids. Now that is what I call camping!
Beach walking was one of our favorite things to do here.
All that walking makes you very sleepy!
