We spent some time at Fort Pickens while we were in Pensacola Beach. It is part of the Gulf Island National Seashore National Park. It was built beginning in 1829 and was completed around 1833. So Dash needed some fuel. These days the price of fuel is very high and Diesel fuel at the truck stops just off the highway is about $4.60/gallon. At a regular gas station, it is about $3.90. We are out on the road again! This is our first long trip in Dash. We are making several stops as we go to and back from San Antonio. On our first day out, Cole showed us a new way to let us know that it was time to check out a rest stop and smell all the smells!
