So we took another short trip to do a little more learning and get the feeling for camping. This time we are at the Rainbow Springs Campground. It is a great campground with lots for trails for walking. The rain followed us once again, but it only stayed with us for Tuesday Morning. Once the rain cleared, we got a chance to go outside and do what everybody loves about camping!
As that evening went on, it started to get cooler and it was time to get the campfire started. As with most campfires, it took a little time to get it started (and perhaps a little bit of plumbing work).
Ed did a great job of re-plumbing the firepit so that we could hook it up to the propane system on Dash! Now it was time for warming up by the campfire.
Tomorrow is another day and the sun is supposed to shine!

Looks like you all are learning a lot. Can’t tell who is having more fun! Enjoy!
Looks like so much fun. Have you done any cooking by the campfire or in the camper? Hope the sun today brings more exciting exploring.
I agree – campfires have changed so much from when we camped as kids! We had to gather all the sticks and wood and put up with the smoke in our faces!
The accommodations have changed too! If I recall, we “got to” sleep in tents on the ground and mom and dad slept in the camper! So many great memories though thanks to mom and dad!
Looks so fun!! Glad you got some sunny days
