We had a lot of fun hanging out in Amarillo. We stayed at the Big Texan RV Ranch. The place was very nice and the staff was super friendly. The place definitely has an old western feel to it. This park is just off of I-40, which of course replaced Route 66 as the cross country road in the 60’s. This year is the 100 year celebration of this iconic road and many businesses are celebrating its history.
If you don’t have an RV don’t worry, there are other opportunities to stay at this fun spot. They have beautiful cabins available.
The real fun would be to stay in one of these beauties.

Just down the street is the Big Texan Steak Ranch, another iconic spot.
We had an amazing meal and made another great memory. If you are in the area, definitely check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
That site and restaurant looks so amazing. I’d love to eat at the Big Texan. I bet they have a Texas-sized steak, too.
