Well it is almost time for us to head out on our 2026 summer trip. This year we will be going back out west to some of our favorite National Parks that absolutely deserve a second (or third) stop. We will also check off a few that we haven’t been to.
Here is a look at our path this summer.
The southern portion is the out route as we try to let the northern part of the country warm up.
We are excited to see some new places, like Austin & Amarillo in Texas, Mesquite in Nevada, and the Antelope Slot Canyons near Page, Arizona.
Carlsbad Caverns and The Wind Caves National Parks are among the new National Parks we will see.
Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, and the Badlands are all previous stops that we will be hitting again, but we are staying at different campgrounds, so there will be new adventures there as well.

It looks like we will be staying close to home for the summer. I probably will go fishing with my friend Rich from St. Louis sometime in September.
